Data
Effective Date: 22 March 2026
1. Overview
This page explains how your data is stored, how it can be deleted, and what happens when you reset or uninstall the Kynetically™ application.
2. Local Data Storage
Kynetically primarily stores session data, journal entries, and breathing history locally on your device. This means your information remains under your control and is not transmitted to external servers unless explicitly stated. Data is retained only while the app remains installed on your device.
3. Resetting App Data
You may reset your session data at any time using the “Reset Personal Data” option within the app settings. Resetting immediately removes all locally stored data from your device but does not affect active subscriptions managed by Apple.
4. Deleting the App
Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data from your device. However, subscription status is managed by Apple and must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID subscription settings.
5. Subscription Cancellation
Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and may be validated using RevenueCat. To cancel a subscription, go to your Apple ID settings on your device. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
6. Health Data
If you grant access to Apple Health or Android Health Connect, Kynetically may read heart rate data for session calculations. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device’s Health or Health Connect settings.
7. Data Control Summary
You remain in control of your data at all times. You can delete your data by resetting it within the app, uninstalling the app, or revoking health data permissions. Once deleted or the app is uninstalled, your data cannot be recovered. Kynetically does not maintain independent backups or long-term personal data records outside of your device.
